Miley Cyrus will appear on the cover of the latest Vanity Fair set to hit newsstands later this week. She posed for a, what she now calls "racy", shoot with legendary photographer Annie Liebovitz. Miley is worried the shots will alienate fans and issued an apology.

Miley Cyrus should not apologize for this photo. There is nothing unfitting about it. It is a classic photograph of a beautiful girl. The only thing she is showing is her vulnerability.
for a 15 year old to be posing in photos like this, yes an apology should be issued to her fans. what kind of an example is she setting? It didn't work for britney, and its not going to work for miley. plus, the way the photo is shot makes her look trashy...
I love Miley. My daughter really likes her as well. I do not like the photo she took for Vanity fair I agree that it gives mixed messages and as a parent I would be upset and think about letting my daughter watch her so much. I think it's too grown for her shes like 15.
